# Contacts

​The **Contacts List** includes contacts that were added by you or Contacts who added you as a Contact.​

Contact List is your entry point to start communicating with people from your **Contact List.** From here you can also manage your Contacts.‌

Clicking on the **Actions︙**&#x62;utton near a Contact will open the Contact's details card:‌

* **Chat** - Chat and share files with a Contact
* **Direct Call** - Start a [direct call](https://app.gitbook.com/@accent/s/connect-user-guide/communications/app-voice-and-video#making-direct-calls-and-video-calls)
* **Extension** - Place an [extension based call](/desktop-user-guide-1.6/communication/phone-calls/calls-to-extensions-and-phone-numbers.md)
* **Profile** - View Contact profile information
* **Delete** - Remove the Contact from your Contacts list

Clicking on the contact will open the [one-to-one chat ](/desktop-user-guide-1.6/communication/team-communication/chat-and-team-collaboration.md)window allowing you to chat with the user and [share files](/desktop-user-guide-1.6/communication/team-communication/chat-and-team-collaboration.md#file-sharing-within-chat).
